From safe, modern shipyards located in Western Australia, the United States of America, Vietnam and the Philippines, we have delivered and continue to construct more than 350 vessels for 122 operators in 59 countries around the world. Since listing on the Australian Stock Exchange in December 1998, we have diversified and strengthened our product base through the strategic acquisition of a number of shipbuilding and information technology companies. With a genuine focus on emerging maritime technologies and cutting-edge ship designs, we are leading the industry in the development of innovative defence and commercial solutions.

Our extensive vessel range includes passenger and vehicle-passenger ferries, patrol boats, high speed support vessels, surface combatants and multi-role vessels, with proven expertise of construction in both aluminium and steel. We are a true lifetime solution, from vessel manufacture to sustainment, and our global network of shipyards, service centres and highly skilled teams, we support our customers, wherever they are.

Strategic Shipbuilding Position

We are recognised as a strategic shipbuilder in Australia and a key defence partner in the United States, with strong positions on major naval programs and sustainment work.

  • Strategic Shipbuilding Agreement (SSA) with the Commonwealth of Australia, securing future work and underpinning the long-term domestic defence order book.
