Brent was appointed as a Non-Executive Director (NED) of Austal Limited in October 2024.
A highly experienced international finance executive and Board member, Brent has performed NED and Chief Finance Officer (CFO) roles for a number of large international and Australian listed companies including ARN Media, A2B (formerly Cabcharge), Cochlear and Nine Network Australia.
He has also served on the Global MBA Advisory Board at Macquarie University.
With expertise in strategic and international financial management, mergers and acquisitions and risk management, Brent brings valuable skills and experience to the Austal Board, while also currently Chair of the the Audit and Risk Committees on the Boards of ARN Media, AI Media, Silverchain, Pacific Smiles and Canteen; a leading youth cancer charity providing evidence-based support to young people and families impacted by cancer.
Brent has a Bachelor of Commerce (Finance/Accounting and Information Systems) from the University of New South Wales, is a Chartered Accountant and a Graduate Member of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
